Another amazing ride from Capitol Reef to Bryce Canyon. By chance I was able to meet up once again with my Mother and Jerry. We had a fantastic three days and did some fantastic hikes in Bryce. A few pics of the Canyon. Hiking here is very similar to the Grand Canyon in that you hike down all morning and up all afternoon. The structures you see are call hodoos and are thought to be the native american ancestors after they pass into the next life. They are made of very soft stone and sand so the Canyon is ever changing as wind, snow, and ice easily chance the landscape. |
