Beautiful Savannah. Unfortunately I didn't get to take many pictures while I was there. I stayed right on Bay St. which is one block from the famous River St.. They did a great job renovating this waterfront area.

After I checked in I hit the town in search of dinner. I found this nice little locals Irish pub on River St. and stopped in for some food and a Guinness. While I was there I met two homicide detectives from Miami, Larry and his partner Rosanna. They were facinating to talk with. They were in town apprehending a murder suspect who had fled to the area. We chatted for about 5 hours. They gave me their cards and also told me a little secret on how to get out of a speeding ticket should I get pulled over again on this trip. I won't be sharing the secret with all of you because...well...then it won't be a secret anymore. Lets just say I now have family on the force in Miami.

A few days later I sent Rosanna a note and you'll be happy to hear that they did successfully and safely get their guy.

The next day I spent about 4 hours on the city tour. I can't believe how much history is in this sleepy town. It really was beautiful. Unfortunately the bus never stopped and I couldn't get good pictures of the area. Definately a place I want to go back to for some more exploring on foot.
