Ok, I'm just going to say it...Dan is living large. This apartment is amazing! Check out the balcony view.

Maybe that's why my scheduled 3 days in Chicago turned into 5 days. Looks like I'm skipping Cedar Rapids.

Our day of exercise along the lake. It was 95 degrees and I roller bladed while Dan attempted to train for the Chicago marathon in September. After an hour we gave up and decided to reward our efforts with a beer.

A little pre-party at Dan's awesome apartment with our friends Michelle and Christy.

Dan was a fantastic host. Gave me full run of the place and really made me feel at home. Even my car was valeted all weekend free of charge. I could have stayed there another month!!! Slightly better than the accomodations the last time I stayed with Dan in Trinidad. Life is good when you don't need to sleep on luggage.
