Rolling fields as far as the eye can see as I make my way across 80 West.

A desparately needed car wash at the Iowa Welcome Center. I think I managed to kill every bug between here and Chicago.

Ok why am I here? There really is nothing in Boone. When I asked the guy behind the desk at the Hotel where I could get a dinner and some drinks he just stared at me in amazement. After 5 minutes of silence I just walked away.

Tomorrow I'll attempt to take the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad ride.

Looks like the out-house is available now...time to go.

Off roading in the Vette to see the Kate Shelly High Bridge which is the highest and longest steel structure train bridge in the country. A full mile of gravel road is not going to help the Vette resale value.

Had to take the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad tour over the bridge. I was riding in an open air car and it was a little scary going over the bridge and looking down.
