Perfect timing! Currently 6 inches of snow and still counting. Dan and Joanne cleaning off the driveway. They were just so happy to see their lifetime roommate. I've got so much to do! I went food shopping and I'm stocked up and ready to be stranded. I've got to get the site updated, unpack all my stuff, re-organize all my boxes, repack for the winter leg of the trip (which I haven't shared with all of you yet), try and find a 4x4 to purchase for the winter, not to mention visit all my friends and co-workers. As I get all these things done I'll be posting more pics to this Delaware page. Couldn't wait to visit my family away from home. This is Joann's (Dan's wife) family. The Nyhus's, Mr. and Mrs. Nyhus, Megan, Beth, and Amy. It's always so much fun to hang out with them. Spent Friday night visiting with Rick and Itala Murphy, John, Danielle, and Sean Landon, Dan and Joann....ummm what's wrong with this picture..... oh yea Mike has no date. Perfect timing to attend a holiday party at my friend Chris and his wife Tina's place. I was able to see almost all of my DE friends and we had a great time. Somehow we were able to get everyone to pose for a web-site picture. I was also able to visit the boat for a quick hug. I really missed being on the water this summer. However, the boat is in perfect shape and is ready for a great summer next year. Oh no...I just had a terrible thought. Boat adventure for the summer months?!?!?!? Will I ever go back to work?????? On Monday I went into work and stayed there from 10 - 5:30 just visiting friends and co-workers. It was great to see everyone again and believe it or not I was starting to miss it. Here are some pics of my old department. It was sad to see it still empty. Ok, off to CT! |
