I drove to Tucson where I have cousin's that were very happy to put me up for a few days. Here is a picture of David (can you believe he is only 17), Phil, and Diane. Unfortunately I forgot to bring the camera when we went out for dinner so I don't have a picture of Andrea.
I arrived on Thursday and they drove me to the airport on Friday so I could attend the fourth and final wedding. I Saturday I was able to meet up with grade school friends for a day out on my friend Kevin's boat (an awesome Sea Ray Sundancer 310). I went directly from there to my step sisters rehearsal dinner. Then back out with the boys later that night. Amy looked fantastic. Unfortunately, I was in most of the ceremony and was unable to snap good pictures for posting. The wedding was very unique, intimate, and special. I loved how they did things their own way to make it a different experience. Given it was my fourth in only a few months it was a welcomed change. My niece and nephew, Samantha and Danny. These guys are so much fun and provided the group with some laughs during the wedding. On Monday I took a drive around town to check out the foliage. I forgot how beautiful Gbury is. Another grade school friend Jason with his girlfriend. He just purchased this Z06 which is essentially a street legal race car. We drove past each other randomly and were able to hang out for a couple of hours and catch up.
A very successful 3 days home given the wedding and seeing friends and family. I won't be home again until the conclusion of the road trip in December. |
