Ice and snow storms continued to chase me up the coast. I had to skip NYC and the Poconos so I could make it to CT. It's been great to be home. I've made great progress on planning the winter portion of the trip. I should have some cool photos to post hear by early next week. That's also when I'll explain the whole winter plan. I've been able to hang out with the family and see many of my friends who still live in the area.
My friend from 6th grade now owns American Ladders and he gets all sorts of VIP treatment from the radio stations he advertises with (and even those he doesn't). He had an extra ticket and VIP badge to attend a children's benefit concert in Hartford. We all brought toys and enjoyed a free night of food, drinks, and music. Believe it or not this is Kevin and I with Sheryl Crow (and I'm taking the picture). She was so cool not to mention beautiful. I can't believe she is 40+. This picture was taken during the VIP meet and greet. And while it's hard to tell that is her on stage about an hour later. I love Glastonbury. Hay rides down main street just before xmas. Here I am with one of my earliest friends, Garry Roman, his wife Kim, and the kids. These guys are so much fun. I stayed there for a few hours and I ran out of energy before the kids did. Just in case you are wondering...I've got the labels from the bottom of all the chairs in the house stuck to my shirt. The boys thought it would be funny to have me where them around all night. The last few pics are my niece and nephew Samantha and Danny. These guys are just so much fun. I love being with them. My xmas present to them were remote controlled monstor trucks just like the one I bought. We immediately set up jumps outside and started running into stuff. I think their Daddy Matt had more fun with them than anyone! |
