Visited my friend Brenda in Houston and...well...she has tons of girlfriends. So when we went out I was the only guy with a group of girls. Times are good!!!! Brenda actually had a trip planned to the Bahamas that got cancelled last minute. Since she had the days off we decided to drive to South Padre Island just to check it out. Since it was off season we were able to get a great suite right on the beach. Unfortunately our little off season gamble didn't work out. Basically hurricane type weather all weekend. The seas were angry that day my friends. On the second day I started building an ark. Here we are leaving...suns out...beautiful weather...perfect!
Had a nice relaxing stay in Houston. Was able to get the site updated, car cleaned, laundry done. Plus I was able to visit with some work friends in the Houston office.
Now onto New Orleans where three of the guys will be flying in to meet me. I'm scared. |
